How do I find your shop?

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended, but not necessary. Because we offer both on-site and walk-in services, you may wish to call us ahead of time and let us know you are coming. We value your time and would not want to miss you because we are out of the office on a service call. Feel free to call us at 360-385-6166 if you have additional questions.

How soon can you repair my computer?

Because we are locally owned, we can usually get a technician to your house the same day you call or we can schedule an appointment for a later date if that is more convenient. Computerdotfix offers simple, no-fee pricing.

When will I get my computer back?

Unless we need to order a part, we can usually have your home computer or small business computer up and running in a short amount of time. Most problems can be resolved within 1 - 2 hours for residential issues. If you have more than one workstation that requires service, it will take extra time. We understand “emergencies” and know that the sooner your computer is up and running, the happier you’ll be. We value excellence. And, we want you to be our “life long” customer. Let us go that extra mile to provide you with the excellent service you deserve.

What are your rates?

We charge $65/hr on site and $75/hr at your home or business office for all services, including evenings and holidays. There are never any extra fees. Unlike other services, we don’t charge by the job (which can add up quickly). We charge by the hour with increments of 30 minutes after the first hour.

Are you a 'green business'?

Yes! The Jefferson County Board of Health recently certified us as a “green business.” In a letter to the local board, one of Port Townsend’s Environmental Health Specialists stated that Computerdotfix owner, Malick Sow, is "becoming a leader in the community and (he) is working on ways to protect the environment while doing business."

What about community service?

Malick Sow has been honored through Jefferson County’s Green Business Program for recycling old, unwanted computer equipment as part of his personal efforts to bring technology to needy school children in the West African country of Senegal. In addition to helping children improve their studies, the refurbished computers provide global access through the Internet. Locally, giving computers a second life is environmentally sound as it keeps harmful components out of local landfills. Our company is proud of the recognition it has received for its effort to protect, preserve and sustain the environment.
